In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, dried parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create an herb-infused marinade.
Add the cod fillets to the bowl and gently coat them in the marinade. Allow the fillets to marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Place the marinated cod fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they’re not overlapping.
Air fry the cod for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fillets are golden brown, crispy, and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C).
Once done, remove the cod from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
